Massachusetts corporation name:
A Massachusetts corporation name must contain the word "corporation", "incorporated", "company", or "limited", or an abbreviation thereof, and the name cannot be the same or so similar that it is likely to be mistaken for any other business entity name that registered or reserved in accordance with the state’s laws.
Massachusetts corporation board of directors:
A Massachusetts corporation with three or more shareholders must have at least three directors provided that if permitted by its articles of organization it may have as few as one director regardless of the number of shareholders. There are no eligibility requirements for board members other than as may be set forth in the corporation’s articles of incorporation or bylaws.
Massachusetts corporation officers:
A Massachusetts corporation shall have a president, a treasurer, a secretary and such other officers as may be appointed by its board of directors or described in its bylaws. One individual may simultaneously hold more than one office in the corporation.
