Do I have to pay for storing my information in the MaxFilings incorporation system?

There is no charge to collect and organize your incorporation or LLC information in the MaxFilings system. You only pay when you’re ready to go ahead and submit your order for processing, although there is no obligation to place your order with us - we encourage you to use our system freely while researching and organizing your incorporation details.


How long will my order take?

If you’re forming a business with MaxFilings, please know that the time required for your order will depend on the Secretary of State’s office. While some states process filings promptly, others can take from 4 - 6 weeks or even more to form a corporation or LLC, unless Expedited Processing is used.

With Expedited Processing, time to complete your incorporation will be reduced to about 10 days or less with the exception of just a few states. Your processing will be put ahead of non-priority processing, and overnight delivery service will be used to send your documents to you. Your documents will either be hand delivered to the state, or sent electronically or by overnight delivery service, also tapping into any state expediting service available.

In states where it is available, our Rush Processing will complete processing in about 2 days. Your processing is assigned top priority and overnight delivery service will be used to send your documents to you. Your documents will either be hand delivered to the state or sent electronically or by overnight delivery service. In addition, all state expedited and rush processing services offered will be applied.Please keep in mind that we do all we can to ensure your order is processed as efficiently as possible, but the timing is ultimately dependent on the Secretary of State where your business is being formed.

How can I recover my password or username?

We’re very serious about keeping user information secure, so we do not email out usernames and original passwords. However, if you lose your password, we’ll email you a new one when you let us know you’ve lost your password. You can then sign in using your new password and change it.
